Following the original series, the pair created The Legend of Korra in 2012. DiMartino later transitioned into prose fiction with his debut novel series Rebel Genius, while continuing to author and oversee graphic novel extensions of the Avatar universe published by Dark Horse Comics and Abrams Books. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife.
