In Tahereh Mafi’s Shatter Me, Juliette escaped from The Reestablishment by seducing Warner—and then putting a bullet in his shoulder. But as she’ll learn in Destroy Me, Warner is not that easy to get rid of. . .
Back at the base and recovering from his near-fatal wound, Warner must do everything in his power to keep his soldiers in check and suppress any mention of a rebellion in the sector. Still as obsessed with Juliette as ever, his first priority is to find her, bring her back, and dispose of Adam and Kenji, the two traitors who helped her escape. But when Warner’s father, The Supreme Commander of The Reestablishment, arrives to correct his son’s mistakes, it’s clear that he has much different plans for Juliette. Plans Warner simply cannot allow.

Dystopian fiction and young adult literature gained a distinct narrative voice with the release of the bestselling Shatter Me series, a speculative saga following a young woman whose touch is lethal. Tahereh Mafi built an international readership through this work and went on to publish over a dozen books spanning dystopian fiction, contemporary YA, and high fantasy. Her novels have sold millions of copies worldwide and have been translated into more than thirty languages.
Born on November 9, 1988, in Connecticut, Mafi is an Iranian-American author who attended Soka University. She made her publishing debut with the novel Shatter Me, which expanded into a widely read dystopian series that includes novellas such as Destroy Me and full-length sequels like Unravel Me. Mafi subsequently broadened her bibliography with contemporary fiction, publishing A Very Large Expanse of Sea. Longlisted for the National Book Award and named one of the best young adult books of all time by Time magazine, the novel was optioned for film development by Levantine Films. She continued her contemporary writing with An Emotion of Great Delight and authored the middle-grade fantasy novels Furthermore and Whichwood. Mafi later introduced the Woven Kingdom high-fantasy series, including the titles These Infinite Threads and All This Twisted Glory. In 2013, she married fellow author Ransom Riggs, and they reside in Southern California with their daughter.

In her speculative and fantasy series, including Ignite Me and All This Twisted Glory, she combines romance with complex political intrigue and power dynamics. Her writing is recognized for lyrical sensory details, deep character interiority, and inventive formatting devices in her early dystopian prose.
