Zogarth

Serialization of progression fantasy and LitRPG fiction has created a vibrant niche for system-driven web fiction focused on expansive multiverse mechanics. The author Zogarth introduced readers to this style through The Primal Hunter, a series centering on a protagonist who navigates deadly tutorials and divine powers using an archery-focused class.

Career & Background

Before transitioning into full-time fiction writing, Zogarth worked in the corporate sector in Denmark. In September 2020, he began serializing The Primal Hunter on the web platform Royal Road, quickly building a reader following through consistent chapter releases. In November 2020, he launched a Patreon page to support his fiction, which allowed him to leave his corporate job and write full-time. His novel series has since been published across multiple formats, including digital light novels and unabridged audiobooks narrated by Travis Baldree.

Writing Style & Themes

Zogarth's writing features prominent LitRPG progression mechanics, solitary survival themes, and archery combat against progressively stronger opponents. His work explores individual self-reliance, alchemy, and intricate power systems structured around gods and multiversal factions, balancing high-stakes action with understated humor.
