Career & Background
M. L. Wang is an author, martial artist, and self-described weird recluse living in Wisconsin with her maroon-bellied parakeet, Sulu. Outside of her writing, she enjoys gruesome nature documentaries and long walks in circles around her room. Her early publications include the young adult fantasy series The Volta Academy Chronicles, also known as Girl Squad Volta. After building a strong readership independently, Wang transitioned into traditional publishing with her dark academia novel, Blood Over Bright Haven, which was also released in special signed editions by Wraithmarked Creative and The Broken Binding.
